Poison Ivy
 

A low, shrubby, suberect plant, growing 1-1½ feet tall, or a vigorous vine, climbing high into trees, supported by aerial roots along the stem.
 
Flowers are small, green, with 5 petals, borne in a short panicle, 1-3 inches long
June-July
Leaves are alternate, trifoliolate, each leaflet being 2-4 inches long, pointed at the tip, with an entire or coarsely toothed margin, lustrous dark green in color.
Fall color is orange-red to reddish-maroon.
 
 
Fruit is a small, round, hard, whitish berry, ¼ inch in diameter, ripening in October
 
 
 
 
Caution: All parts of this plant contain a poisonous material which may cause blistering of the skin.
