Styrax obassia Fragrant Snowbell 5 to 8   Japan Shrub or small tree. 20 to 30 feet White flowers borne on 4 to 8 inch long, drooping racemes. May to June. Alternate, simple, suborbicular to broad-ovate, 3 to 8” long. Not showy.   Relatively smooth, gray to gray-brown, marked with shallow, vertical fissures. Pubescent drupe.
