Groundcover sedum which roots at the nodes
2-6 inches tall and 18 inches wide.
Pinkish red flowers, ˝-1 inch wide are borne in dense, 4-branched inflorescences.
Midsummer
Leaves opposite, ˝-1 inch long, obovate with a wedge-shaped base, crenate-toothed on upper third of leaf. The leaf margins are reddish with leaves near the apex turning a deeper red in the fall. Many of the leaves are deciduous, but those near the shoot tip are evergreen and turn red in the winter.
 
 
  • 'Album' - White flowers
  • 'Bronze Carpet' - Reddish bronze leaves, usually most prominent in the early season. Green stem reversion will sometimes occur. Pink flowers.
  • 'Coccineum' - Scarlet flowers.
  • 'Dragon's Blood' - Foliage has a strong reddish bronze color. Flowers are scarlet.
  • 'Fuldaglut' - Deep red foliage and scarlet flowers. An improved 'Dragon's Blood'.
  • 'Red Carpet' - Red flowers and bronze foliage.
  • 'Variegatum' - Leaves have creamy pink margins.
