Small bell-shaped flowers are
pink in bud opening to white or pale pink are
1 inch wide and appear alongside the branches
and in small clusters at the stem tips.
Blooms in early spring
Leaves
are 3-4 inches long, lepidote and
blue-green. New leaves are covered with a soft
whitish down. Tan to brown color on the lower
leaf surfaces.
