are borne on the lower side of the upper parts
of the leafy stem. The flowers are followed by
bluish black fruit in the fall. |

ovate, up to 4 inches long, 1-2 inches wide, pale and
pubescent lower leaf surface, upper side is
glabrous. Foliage turns a nice brownish yellow
in the fall. |
