Prostrate plant
3-6 inches tall by 2 feet wide
The flowers are borne in small terminal cymes or panicles atop short, flowering branches. Flower color ranges from red-purple to violet-purple, pink, or white. Individual flowers are approximately ˝ across and the corolla lobes are shallowly notched.
March-May
Opposite leaves are linear to subulate, up to 1 inch, long and semi-evergreen
