The leaves are
crowded on the upper part of the stem. They are
thick, somewhat succulent and rather stiff in
comparison to
other chrysanthemums. Oblong and spatulate in
shape, they have a bluntly serrate to dentate
leaf tip. The dark green leaves are alternate
and are 1˝-3˝ inches long. Nippon daisy is a
shrubby perennial and the lower foliage often
falls from the stem. |
