Malva alcea Hollyhock Mallow 4-8   Loosely branched perennial 3-4 feet tall by 18 inches wide The 1½ wide pink flowers are borne in long-blooming spikes. Each one of the five petals has a conspicuous notch at the tip.   The alternate leaves are 3-8 palmately lobed with stellate pubescence. They are 2-3 inches wide.
