Hybrid Origin - Developed in Massachusetts prior
to 1955.
vase-shaped, medium texture
18-22 feet
2 inches, dark rosy red to pink
purple at emergence, then bronze-green
bronze to orange-red in fall
˝ inch in diameter, glossy deep red, persistent
until following spring
Moderately resistant to diseases, except scab.
Severely susceptible to scab, but tolerant of
the disease. Fireblight has occurred in places where
climatic conditions are ideal for infection.
