Malus 'Jewelcole' Red Jewel Crabapple 4-8 Hybrid Origin - Originated in Ohio and was introduced in 1972. broadly ovate, medium texture 14-16 feet white, single, abundant   glossy dark green yellow in fall     less than 1/2 inch diameter, cherry red, remains glossy into winter, persists into winter and is usually not eaten by birds Moderately resistant to fireblight, tolerant of scab. Slightly susceptible to mildew and fireblight.
