Malus 'Centurion' Centurion Crabapple 3-8 Hybrid Origin - Selected in Indiana by crossing M. x zumi 'Calocarpa' with M. 'Almey' and was introduced in 1978. narrowly ovate, more rounded as it matures, medium texture 20-25 feet red buds open to rose-red flowers   dark green with a slight red overcast       glossy, cherry-red, persists into winter tolerant of scab and resistant to fireblight.
