Lilium tigrinum Tiger Lily 5 China   3-4 feet Scentless orange-red blooms are 4 inches wide and dotted with purple-black. Mid-July Numerous black bulbils produced in the axils of the leaves.     'Flore-plena' - double flowered form has 24-36 modified petals, but is not an especially valued garden asset. 'Splendens' - blooming in August, rich color.
