with L. lucidum. The Japanese Privet has
leaves which are much more glossy than those of
L. lucidum. Also, the Japanese Privet has
raised veins on the underside of the leaves while
on L, lucidum they are
sunken. Although not as vigorous as L.
lucidum its dark green lustrous foliage
makes it a better ornamental. |
