- 'Palace Purple' - Ivy-shaped foliage with greenish purple to
dark purple color. 15-18 inches
tall with a similar spread. This cultivar is
said to have originated at
Kew Gardens in the late 1970s.
- 'Bressingham Bronze' - Large crinkled leaves
are bronze-purple on the upper surface and a
bright purple below. The off-white flowers
extend above the foliage.

- 'Montrose Ruby' - Leaves are dark purple with silver
mottling. It is a cross of 'Palace Purple' x
H. americana 'Dale's Strain'.
- 'Pewter Moon' - Dark maroon reverse to
the leaves, which are marbled on top with a pewter overlay. The lower leaf surfaces are purple. Creamy-pink
flowers appear in late spring. Plants are 10-12 inches tall.
