Dicentra canadensis Squirrel  Corn     6-10 inches Dainty broad heart-shaped pinkish-white, sometimes tinged with pale lavender and fragrant. Spring Smooth, blue-gray and fern-like   The roots resemblance to corn kernels accounts for its common name. The plant goes dormant in early summer.
