inch stalks and in variations of pink or red
often with a crimson center.

'Brilliant' - very widely grown
selection with bright red flowers.
This is probably
what most people identify with the term "pinks"
in the landscape. If you shear down the flowers
after most of them have started to drop their
petals, it will promote additional flowering.
