5-6 feet tall with a similar or greater spread.
 
Leaves are alternate, trifoliate, with each leaflet being ˝ inch long, oblong to lanceolate, entire, slightly pubescent, bright green in color.
Flowers are bright yellow, 1 inch across, borne singly or in pairs along the stems, showy.
May-June
Stems are green in color, somewhat winged.
Very erect, broad, rounded shrub with dense, slender stems and twigs.
Fruit is a brownish pod, 1˝-2 inches long, ripening in September-October
