The 4 petaled yellow flowers
are borne in axillary
racemes. Flowers are ⅜-½ inch long and have
a tubular shape with a flared tip. The flowers
resemble very small snapdragon flowers and
bleeding heart flowers. |

Gray-green leaves
are 1-4 inches wide, long-petioled and 2-3 pinnately compound. The leaflets are
obovate and are usually lobed. The foliage has
