Sturdy clump of erect, unbranched stems with coarse
leaves

axils or in short, terminal racemes. Flowers are
1˝ inches long with campanulate corollas.

Alternate leaves
are oblong-ovate to lanceolate,
lower leaves are petioled, 5-6 inches long while the upper
leaves are smaller and become sessile higher on the
stem. The leaves are rugose, pubescent and have a
double-toothed margin. Stems have scattered hairs.
