Hardier than the Common Box
  • 'Compacta' - Kingsville Dwarf - Dense, rounded, twiggy cultivar with small leaves
  • 'Curly Locks' - Compact, upright growth. The branches have a curling or twisted habit, quite different from other Boxwoods.
  • 'Green Pillow' - Habit same as 'Compacta' but the leaves are twice as large. 2 feet tall
  • B. Koreana - Korean Box, a native of Korea and hardy in Zone 4, is one of the hardiest of the Boxwoods.
  • B. Koreana 'Tide Hill' - Dwarf habit - its foliage does not turn brown in the winter
