Large mound of foliage topped by many branched
flower stems.

Flowers are 2-3 inches wide, white or pink
with a silky sheen on the backside of the
sepals. The flowers are carried on branching
stems that arise gracefully above the dark green
foliage.
Late summer and fall.
Leaves have long petioles and trifoliate. The
leaflets usually have 3 lobes and
are serrated.
