The leaves are

very small and present a ferny texture. The
foliage is aromatic when crushed. |

Plant in full sun
and a loose, well-drained soil. Woolly yarrow
does poorly in areas with hot and humid weather.

- var. aurea ('Maynard's Gold') - gold-yellow flowers
are carried on 3-8 inches tall flower stalks.
- 'Moonlight' - has pale yellow ray flowers and
is somewhat less vigorous than the species.
