broadened, rounded on slightly notched at apex, grooved,
bluish green with narrow pale
bands below. |

Roundish, resinous,
surrounded at base by a collar of long pointed
scales free at the tips. |

Gray and smooth
when young with resin blisters. |

Large, cylindrical
cones about 6 to 10 inches long and 3 inches
wide. |
