In addition to being a hosta hybridizer, Diane Grenfell is the co-founder of the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society (BHHS). She has written, The New Encyclopedia of Hostas, Timber Press Pocket Guide to Hostas and The Color Encyclopedia of Hostas with co-author, Michael Shadrack.
