We have been using PhotoShop many years and have attended several daylong workshops on its use. Although it takes a few minutes to remove the blemishes on the leaves and any unsightly plants or hardscape surrounding the hosta, it is well worthwhile. So don't worry too much about the condition of the hostas in your images as long as they are in focus. Our goal is always to show the individual hosta at its best.
