A seedling of H. 'Sum and Substance', this cultivar was registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 1996. It forms a medium to large size plant with broadly ovate, shiny, slightly wavy leaves. Starting in late July, it bears near white flowers on 24 inch scapes.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "If you tried to guess the background of 'Small Sum', 'Sum and Substance' would probably not be in the top ten of possible parents."
