There is an image of this
cultivar on the
Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be an
upright growing, large
size hosta with wavy, cupped, narrow dark green leaves and
creamy white marginal variegation. As the name would
imply, this is a sport of H. 'Sagae'.
It produces pale lavender flowers on scapes up to 50
inches tall from mid-July into August followed by viable
seeds. This non-registered cultivar was originated by
Theo and Marie-José Dautzenberg of the Netherlands.
