This sport of H. 'Frances Williams' was registered in 2001 by
Peter Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator,
Frances Williams
of Massachusetts. It forms a large size mound about 20 inches in height
with a spread of 44 inches. The leaves are medium gold in color,
heavily corrugated, wavy and have thick substance. Near white
flowers bloom from mid-July into August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...comes very close to H. 'Golden Sunburst' and 'Midwest Gold' in all respects, including being
afflicted with spring
desiccation burn."
