Hosta 'Silver Award'
 

 

A seedling of H. 'Frances Williams', this plant was registered by The American Hosta Society on behalf of the originator, Eunice V. Fisher of Wisconsin in 1986. It forms a large size (27 inches high by 46 inches wide) mound with blue-green foliage that is cupped and has thick substance. Near white flowers bloom in late June into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...ranks as one of the first H. 'Elegans'-type plants named after the formation of The American Hosta Society. It forms a large size mound of slug-resistant, blue-green foliage."
