Hosta 'Sea Sunrise'

This is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Neat Splash' which is part of the "Sea Series" of hostas from Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts. It was registered in 1982 as growing to a medium size about 15 inches in height with a spread of around 36 inches. The chartreuse leaves are heavily variegated with streaks of creamy white, yellow or darker green. Its foliage is slightly corrugated and slightly wavy with average substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...frequently sports all-gold leaves."
