Hosta 'Sea Gold Dust'
 

 

This seedling of H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa' from Mildred Seaver was registered on her behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It grows into a medium size plant about 16 inches high by 44 inches wide. The foliage is heavily corrugated, broadly ovate, cupped and the color starts the season chartreuse but changes to gold later in the year. Its leaves are somewhat unruly, have a thick bloom on the bottom and thick substance. White flowers bloom from late June into July. It sets viable seeds.
