According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "H. 'Sea Gentian' = H. 'Sea Grotto'...Though the name 'Sea Gentian' was used for most of the 1980s, it was disallowed by the registrar due to the usage of a common name for a plant ("gentian") with a cultivar name."
