nursery in Germany, this slightly upright
growing, non-registered
cultivar is a sport of H. ‘Halcyon'. This medium
size hosta has heart-shape, blue-green leaves The foliage has slight
waviness and thick substance. Pale bluish lavender flowers
on 28 inch high scapes bloom from late July into August
followed by viable seeds.
Sometimes listed as H. 'Chiemsee Schätzchen'.
Chiemsee Sweetie
and there is an existing cultivar named H. 'Sweetie'.
The
largest lake in Bavaria is the Chiemsee, which is
otherwise known as the "Bavarian Sea".
