Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb)
and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan but registered in 2010
by Rod Kuenster of Iowa on his behalf, this
medium size (16 inches high by 32 inches wide) cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. Its leaves are medium green
with a yellow marginal variegation. The foliage is
broadly ovate, moderately corrugated, slightly cupped, slightly folded, slightly wavy and slightly shiny on top.
Flowers bloom from June into July on scapes 22 to 26
inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...named for Herb's first school teacher..."
