This cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Northern Halo' × H. 'Paul's Glory' which is part of the "Rosedale Series" of hostas from Jerry Hadrava of Iowa. It was registered in 1999. This large, semi-upright plant has dark green foliage that has deep veins, is lightly wavy and has thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
