Originated by
Gus Krossa of Michigan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage but has H. 'Lancifolia' in its background. It forms a medium size (16
inches high by 36 inches wide) mound of lance shaped, smooth textured foliage with
thin substance. The flowers are medium lavender and bloom on
numerous scapes from mid-August into September.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This is probably the same as Hosta lancifolia."
The Genus HOSTA by
W. George Schmid (1991) indicates that this was originated by
Curtis and was No.
71 on the Alex Summers list of cultivars in 1967.
