This plant was registered by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society on behalf of the originator, Eric Smith. It is a hybrid of H. 'Fortunei Aurea' × H. 'Elegans'. In the spring, it emerges with gold colored foliage which changes to green foliage as the season progresses.
