Hosta 'Neat and Tidy'

A seedling of H. 'Golden Circles', this cultivar was registered by Lucille Simpers of Indiana in 1980. It forms a large size (19 inches high) mound of foliage that is sometimes corrugated and is cupped in both directions. Pale lavender flowers open on 3 feet tall scapes in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), it has "...very unruly dark green foliage that is everything but what the name implies."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "At its best as a young plant...Crumpled, rather distorted leaves."
