A non-registered, small size hosta, this cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Torchlight' which was originated by Alex Malloy of New York. It has green foliage and produces pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...'Knickerbocker: same as 'Knickerbocker Holiday' but with green foliage.
 

One source says that this is a sport of H. 'Chivalry'.
