Hosta 'Kira'

Lillian Maroushek of Minnesota registered this cultivar of unidentified parentage in 1999. The semi-upright, medium size mound is 18 inches high and 45 inches wide with foliage that is lance shaped and has good substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in late July.

According to a Google search, "Kira (キラ) is a god-like figure who kills evil people as punishment for their sins." It is also a first name.
