This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. montana. It was discovered by Kenji Watanabe, of Gotemba Nursery, Gotemba City, Japan. The leaves have a yellow marginal variegation and are moderately rippled with good substance. It forms a medium size mound about 15 inches tall with a spread of 56 inches.
