Hosta 'Iron Curtain'

Stuart Asch of Michigan registered this seedling of H. 'Northern Halo' in 2000. It is a medium size plant that grows to about 16 inches in height with heavily corrugated, blue-green foliage. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

The originator made the following comment on the Fraternal Order of Seedy Fellows website: "As the name implies, this hosta has great substance. Slug resistant, heavily corrugated leaves are broadly ovate to nearly round in shape. Gray/blue in color if grown in the shade, and green if given more sun."
