A tissue culture sport of H. 'September Sun', this cultivar was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2003. The medium to large size plant bears pale lavender flowers from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...honors the nickname of the city of Rochelle, Illinois where Q&Z Nursery is located...essentially a green-leaved version of 'August Moon'...excellent landscape companion for 'September Sun', 'Abiqua Moonbeam', and 'August Moon'."
