Hosta 'Harrison'

This cultivar has H. 'Sieboldiana' in its background. It was registered in 1987 by Peter Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator, Dr. Jamison Harrison of Massachusetts. The giant size mound grows to about 29 inches high with a spread of 64 inches wide. Its blue-green leaves change to dark green as the season progresses. They are convexly (downward) cupped and have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has the look of a H. 'Sieboldiana' seedling (mound size, foliage shape, leaf shape), but its flowers are pale lavender and are produced on relatively tall scapes."
