Although not known for certain, it appears that this plant has H. 'Fortunei Albomarginata' in its background. It is a non-registered hosta that originated in England. 'Hadspen Rainbow' forms a large size plant with green leaves that have a white marginal variegation.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...appears to be the same as 'Antioch'."
