This cultivar with H. 'Tokudama' in its background is a non-registered hosta from Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan. The blue-green foliage has a gold marginal variegation and is heavily corrugated.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...'Gretchen Harshbarger' and 'Tokudama Flavocircinalis' appear to be very similar, if not the same."
