This is a seedling of an unnamed seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' i.e. her "grandchild" which was registered by Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) in 1999. It forms a medium size plant about 14 inches high by 24 inches wide. The blue-green foliage is heavily streaked with yellow and chartreuse. Near white flowers bloom from mid-June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...could prove valuable for breeding small, variegated seedlings with good substance."
