This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Fortunei Aurea' that was registered by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society on behalf of the originator, Eric Smith of England . The large size hosta forms a 20 inch tall mound which spreads to a width of 63 inches. Its foliage is ovate and slightly wavy. Lavender flowers bloom in late July.
