This seedling of H. 'Fortunei Aurea' was registered in 1988 by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society on behalf of the originator, Eric Smith. It grows into a large size hosta about 18 inches high by 44 inches wide. The foliage starts out gold but turns to a light green by midsummer. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
