This cultivar is a seedling of H. montana which was originated by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts and registered on their behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. The upright growing plant becomes a large size with shiny green foliage that has a yellow medial (center) variegation which changes to white later in the summer. Lavender, tubular flowers bloom in July.
